Recreational Chemistry
Recreational ChemistryRecreational Chemistry is a popular course that teaches the basic elements of chemical and biological processes. Students learn chemistry through hands-on research and experiments, in lab simulations, and in lectures on topics such as spectroscopy, equilibrium, crystal structures, and biochemistry. In fact, most of the topics of this course are designed to help students learn some basic concepts in chemistry that will translate into real-world applications.Professors introduce the various elements of chemistry, introducing the chemical elements, compounds, and atomic elements that compose each element. The student is introduced to various ways of reacting in order to form these elements, by boiling, cooling, and various other methods. Students begin to learn basic mathematics to perform many calculations, and develop the ability to use the common units of measure used in chemistry. Using real world examples, students learn more about reactions that occur at the atomic level.Classes in this course cover important topics that range from organic chemistry, to chemical biology, to polymer science. Students learn a wide variety of techniques for analyzing and measuring various properties of materials, in addition to creating new materials, such as plastics. For example, students learn to manipulate liquids by using mechanical and chemical methods. Different kinds of chemicals can be produced by mixing, colloidal reactions, and using various solvents, among other techniques.Students are introduced to more modern applications of chemistry, such as cancer detection, protein structural biology, and therapeutic drugs. Finally, students learn about environmental and health hazards, including ionizing radiation, chemical pollution, and pharmaceutical contamination. The course uses a systematic approach. Students are introduced to a variety of topics in different areas of science, without addressing each one separately. The course begins with a laborato ry section, where students participate in laboratory experiments that simulate chemical reactions. After the laboratory is completed, the students study laboratory methods used in working with liquid and solid solutions, and in experimental observations. Students learn to analyze data through theoretical and experimental methods, and learn how to make chemical reaction sequences and transformations. They also learn about experiments using acids, bases, and alkalis, and how to measure and record data. The importance of these topics is highlighted in the material that students learn through lab simulations. At the end of the course, students should be able to describe how elements such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur interact with each other and the elements of the periodic table. Students should be able to create and/or manipulate materials, analyze data, and prepare analytical reports.

5 tips on preparing your child for secondary school
5 tips on preparing your child for secondary school When the time comes for our child to start secondary school it can be both an exciting and terrifying time; for both the parent and the child. All of a sudden our little ones go from being young and carefree to having responsibilities; a new chapter in their lives has begun. As parents we spend time worrying about how they will manage, whether they will make friends and if they will cope with their homework. But we did the same when they started primary school for the first time; we just don't remember that far back! How would they cope without us? Would they eat properly? Would they make friends? But just as they settled into the routine of primary school, they will settle into their new 'big' school. There are of course ways to make the transition from primary to senior school smoother. Here are five ways to help your child prepare for secondary school and ensure that their new chapter begins smoothly and successfully. 1. Talk about the changes they will face One of the biggest changes your child will face is moving from the top class of the primary school to the bottom class of a secondary school. Of course it is perfectly natural for your child to feel nervous, but knowing you are there to listen to their anxieties will help them feel more secure.Their secondary school will also probably be much larger than their primary school. Explain that it is perfectly fine to take some time to get used to finding different relevant places at the school and that all of the children in their new class will be facing the same challenges. With secondary school comes more responsibility so it's a good idea to have a chat about the expectations that come with going to a bigger school. Homework will be more difficult and more often that what they are probably used to, lessons will need more concentration and they will have deadlines that they will need to stick to. Try easing them in to more responsibilities over the summer with a few extra tasks such as keeping their bedroom tidy and helping out with other chores. 2. Consider their feelings Your child will almost certainly have mixed feelings about their upcoming transition. Encourage them to talk to you about their feelings and share their concerns with you. Talk through any issues with them, whether it be about making new friends, bullying or how they will get to school. Reassure your child that their fears and apprehensions are perfectly normal and that everyone has the same worries on their first day of school. Try to be positive about any challenges they will face and talk through some solutions to help put their minds at ease. 3. Be prepared for the first day The first day of school will be filled with mixed feelings and the last thing you or your child need is to be worrying about something you haven't done or something you have forgotten to buy. Make sure you have all of their uniform ready, their sports bag full with everything they will need and their school shoes polished and ready to put on in the morning. Also, make sure their school bag is packed with the necessary stationary your child will need at their new school. Most secondary schools will expect children to have: pencil case pencils pens erasers rulers calculator geometry set It's a good idea to let your child choose their own school bag; just make sure it's ready and packed for the first morning of the new school. An early night will ensure your child is calmer when they wake up and less stressed as late nights can bring morning moodiness. Also make sure they have a good breakfast and are ready with a packed lunch or school dinner money; whichever they have chosen. 4. Encourage them to get into a routine Routine generally takes away stress so it's always a good idea to encourage a good daily routine for your child to get into. Bed time should be at a standard time every night during the school week and your child should get used to making sure they have everything ready for school from the night before. Morning routines should also be in place. Getting dressed, brushing their teeth, eating their breakfast, preparing their packed lunch, eating their daily vitamin and leaving at the correct time each morning will alleviate any stresses. The same kind of routine should also apply for after school. Your child should have a set time and place to do their homework each afternoon, time for any after-school activities and time left aside for them to relax and do what they like to do. It's a good idea to have a calendar on your fridge to remind your child of the different preparations they have to do for different days. 5. Plan the journey together With the transition from primary to secondary school comes more independence and many children starting secondary school will probably be making the journey there on their own. Of course, if you are anything like me you'll probably want to go with them on the first day just to make sure they make it there on time and are happy with their route. It is not a bad idea to go through the route a few times beforehand and talk about alternative ways to get to school should the normal way not be viable one day. Make sure the route is the safest, avoiding bigger roads where possible even if it means adding a few extra minutes to their journey. Whether they are walking, cycling or taking the bus to school make sure your child feels comfortable with their route before the first day. Most children now also have mobile phones, so make sure your child has any emergency numbers they may need already in their phone directory. Talk to your child about safe places they can go if they can't get home and who best to call should there be a problem. If they have a friend who lives nearby and goes to the same school, it may be a good idea to arrange for them to travel together. Also, if your child feels uncomfortable it may be a good idea to travel with them for the first few days until their confidence grows.
Unhealthy Habits ... Or Are They
Unhealthy Habits ... Or Are They Photo Via: http://www.healthylifegateway.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/unhealthy-habits.jpg Ah, the freshman fifteen. How we all desperately try to avoid it without sacrificing our laziness, our need for unhealthy food, our drinking habits and first and foremost without having to go to the gym. Well, youâre in luck. In a world in which youâre constantly told you have âunhealthyâ habits, it turns out some of those habits arenât actually as unhealthy as you think. So, to help you get some people off your back (*cough* parents *cough*), here are seven things that may seem unhealthy, but actually arenât according to NBC News. 1. Drinking Wine We seem to go back and forth on this issue. Wine is good for you, no wait it actually isnât. The only consistent part of drinking wine is that we canât seem to stop once we start. All jokes aside, it now seems that drinking wine (in moderation, unfortunately) is actually not bad for you. A study on obesity revealed that alcohol impacts weight gain, but this study only shows significant results for those that binge drink alcohol, not those that have one or two drinks a day. So in other words, having a glass of red wine with dinner doesnât increase your risk for obesity. That being said, drinking a bottle at dinner every day definitely will. 2. Comfort Food We all love comfort food, and we all sneak it into our diets, no matter how unhealthy. But, according to nutritionists, itâs actually healthy to occasionally indulge in our comfort foods every once in a while. Basically, if youâre craving chocolate, have a small piece you donât have to deprive yourself, but you shouldnât binge eat chocolate for the next week either. In fact, youâre actually more likely to binge eat your favorite foods down the road if you donât have a little bit every once in a while. And in terms of indulging your cravings, try to stay as healthy as possible. So if you sit down to a tub of cookie dough because youâre craving it, even if you only have a little, youâre not doing your body any favors. Try to opt for a healthy, similar tasting alternative whenever possible. 3. Cheat Days (in terms of Exercise) Many people believe you have to work out every day to achieve your weight-loss goals. This is true to an extent. For some, working out needs to become a habit, so if you skip a day, all your efforts can come tumbling down. However, itâs not good to work out every day. Any personal trainer will tell you, recovery time is just as important as the time you spend exercising. Of course, if you are one of those people that needs to build a habit and work out every day, you can swap your cardio workout for some intensive stretching or yoga. That way, youâre recovering while maintaining your routine. 4. Chocolate Yes, chocolate can actually be good for you (thatâs right people, time to breathe a sigh of relief). No, donât grab a Cookies and Cream Hersheyâs bar. That will, unfortunately, never be good for you (though weâll keep trying). For chocolate to be healthy, you need 70 percent (or higher) dark chocolate, and you can only eat a few squares (not a full bar). While this isnât the ideal chocolate munching snack, you can melt it and put it in your coffee, in your milk, onto fruit, etc. Essentially, itâs a healthy seasoning for your snacking needs. 5. Stress Yes, stress can be bad. But, it can also be good. Apparently, moderate stress levels actually improve performance (while low-stress levels can diminish it). So basically, you want to be moderately stressed. Awesome. 6. Procrastination No, you shouldnât procrastinate. However, as discussed above, some stress is a good thing. That being said, you should still take steps towards accomplishing the task as this is the most beneficial way to procrastinate. So in other words, you can put things off so long as you are thinking about them and actively taking steps to complete the task. In other words, you donât have to clean the whole apartment today, so long as you have the cleaning supplies and you have a plan set forth for completing it. 7. Netflix Ah, last but not least, thereâs our TV go-to, Netflix. Sitting is the new cancer according to countless studies, which is unfortunate, but probably true. The more time you spend sedentary, the more likely you are to encounter health problems. Watching alone at home is a great way to de-stress, so a small amount of time watching Netflix isnât a bad thing. Itâs also a strong relationship builder, so yes, Netflix and Chill is actually good for you. Go figure (sorry single people). While Netflix is not the preferred means of de-stressing, it is a beneficial one, so now you can watch a few episodes of Shameless without feeling bad about it. Or, you probably will, but it wonât be for health reasons. So start implementing these healthy vs. unhealthy practices and feel better about yourself! Itâs springtime, so the time for change is now!

Lifehack 5 Tips to Easy Your Math Life
Lifehack 5 Tips to Easy Your Math Life Math is the subject unworthy being neglected in school If you have slept for all math lessons do not despair Its never too late to catch up and even surpass their peers We have collected the best mathematical techniques that can be useful in everyday life Use these 5 math lifehack tips to make your life easier: #1 How to calculate percentages quickly The method works if both numbers end with zero Remove the last digit from number which you want to get a percentage and from percentage and multiply the resulting numbers on each other: 40% of 300 = 12% 4 ? 30 = 120 => 12% #2 Japanese Multiplication The essence of the reception is to draw straight lines and counting the intersections between them. You can read my article about Japanese Multiplication here. #3 Multiplication by 9 This rule for multiplying any number from 1 to 9 by 9 When multiplying a number by 9 subtract 1 from this number and assign a number which gives 9 when itâs combined with the first one: 3 ? 9 = 27 27 = (3-1) + (9 -(3-1)) = 2 + 7 #4 How to compare the dates and days of the week quickly Each month contains a day of the week which falls on a multiple of 7 You just need to remember in which months this day is Monday Tuesday and so on So youll remember months under the names Mondays in December or for example Thursdays in August Then you can quickly compare the dates and days of the week in the near future. Lets meet in June say the 15th of? No its Saturdays in June and thus the 15th this Sunday Ill be out of town and unavailable. #5 Butterfly Fractions To add or subtract fractions the butterfly way: 1. Write the fractions side-by-side as usual and draw two wings along the diagonals made by the numerator of one fraction and the denominator of the other fraction and draw an antenna on each wing. 2. As suggested by the wings that look like a multiplication sign multiply the numbers in each wing and put the product in the antenna for the wing. 3. To give your butterfly a body connect the bottom parts of the wings with a body-like loop and multiply the two denominators it connects putting the product inside the body. 4. Add or subtract the numbers in the antennae in keeping with what is being done to the fractions and put the result over the number in the body. 5. If necessary reduce or simplify the result. The butterflies above for 3/4 + 2/5 and 3/4 â" 2/5 illustrate the procedure The only difference in subtracting the fractions versus adding them is in the last step where the numbers in the antennae are subtracted instead of added.
Human Life is an Unceasing Sequence of Single Actions
Human Life is an Unceasing Sequence of Single Actions Ludwing von Mises (1881-1973) is one of the most notable economists of the twentieth century and the foremost economist of the Austrian school of economics. Mises demonstrated that free markets, the division of labor, and private capital investment is the only possible path to the prosperity of the human race. He also showed that government intervention, in addition to hampering and crippling the market, would prove counter-productive leading inevitably to socialism. In his masterpiece Human Action Mises writes: Human life is an unceasing sequence of single actions. Acting man is eager to achieve more satisfactory state of affairs than provided by the status quo . His mind imagines conditions which suit him better, and his action aims at bringing about this desired state. With each action human climb one step on the latter of achievements; never to cease; never to yield. In case youre interested in economics I encourage you to climb that next step and become educated about economics; perhaps even with the help of one the 3000 economics tutors at Tutorz.com.
Cell Definition Chemistry
Cell Definition ChemistryCell definition is an area of chemistry in which a solid block of matter is broken down into its constituent parts. The procedure for the separation of two substances (two isotopes) which has been well studied, and has to do with their conversion from one form to another, usually occurs when an ion exchange is performed. The molecules in the solid block, as well as the atoms or molecules that make up the block, are usually called ions. When molecules in a solid block of matter are broken down, their exchange of electrons is maintained. The ions separated are usually just a small amount of ions in comparison to the molecules. There is also the possibility of atoms being exchanged in the process, but this is extremely rare. However, if the block is long enough, and sufficiently thick, it may sometimes be possible for some atoms to change back into ions. The cell definition of the atom is a chemical equation which has the function of determining the amount of each element in a solid block of matter. The definition of the atom is based on a certain mathematical principle, and the relationship between the quantity of a substance in a solid block of matter, and the corresponding number of particles it contains. In this way, the definition of the atom is more important than what type of substance is in the solid block. The word 'atom' is actually derived from the Greek meaning 'small body' and refers to a term of scientific and physical description.Depending on the definition of the substance, the ratio of the number of atoms in a substance to the quantity of the substance contained in a solid block of matter, or an atom, is used. The term 'compound' is the most common and refers to a mixture of substances, where the quantity of substances in the mixture makes up the mass of the atom, and the atoms themselves are called atoms. When describing substances, there is always the possibility of atoms being divided into more than one substance. This is not considered true 'atomization' but is sometimes referred to as 'asymmetric atomization'.Cell definition of a substance can involve very important factors, and this involves these factors which determine the importance of the various aspects of the substance. The structure of the substance is often the key to determining its classification, and this is one of the reasons that many scientists and chemists use the structure to describe the substance. The behavior of the substance, as it is broken down, also plays a significant role in the classification of the substance. When a solid block of matter is broken down, its atom is broken down into many smaller particles, as well as one larger particle. One of the criteria used in defining the term 'atom' is the particle size, which depends on the type of material in question. Particle size depends on the chemical elements in the solid block, as well as the physical properties of the element.A cell definition of a substance is a useful t ool for understanding different types of materials and substances. Cell definition of a substance is extremely important for scientists, because they use the same information to classify and describe different substances. Cell definition of a substance is also used to give a chemical description of a substance, and this is used to describe the properties of a substance.

7 Career Developing Tricks That Miraculously Work in Your Favor - Introvert Whisperer
Introvert Whisperer / 7 Career Developing Tricks That Miraculously Work in Your Favor - Introvert Whisperer 7 Career Developing Tricks That Miraculously Work in Your Favor There is a huge difference between having a job and building a career. What most people do not understand is that career development is a continuous process and having a job is just the beginning of it. Your journey towards building a successful career actually kicks off way earlier than getting your first job. Your academic qualification and the skills you acquire through learning actually play a major role in shaping your career. But will that be enough? Apparently, no. You must have heard people saying âlook at the bigger pictureâ. Generally, when they say it, they are actually implying to what happens in the longer run. You may find job hopping rewarding at the beginning, as the latest job offers you a better salary package and other employee benefits than the previous ones. However, when you look at the bigger picture, it actually brings down your credibility as a professional. Ideally, your goal should be to developing a career that helps you serve the big picture. What are the biggest challenges you may face in your professional career? Before you consider taking your career to the next level, you need to acknowledge the challenges that are the part and parcel of the having a professional career. At times, identifying these challenges may help you steer your career in the right direction. The transitioning: It often seems difficult for individuals to translate earlier work experience and skills into new employment opportunities. While it may appear necessary to change the job or even the industry under certain circumstances, candidates often find themselves in a critical situation as their last experience does not exactly match the requirements of the new job opportunities. Finding the purpose: Finding a job may not be the easiest thing for the individuals who are just starting out. However, finding a purpose in the job you are doing may be even more challenging than landing the job. Since there are not enough jobs in todayâs market, most people need to start with an entry-level job that fails to fuel their passion. Not feeling a sense of purpose in the job can be daunting. Pursuing the wrong: Having an alternate career option may sound like a wise idea to pursue, but when there are way too many career choices in front of you, things may get a bit complicated. It often takes years for individuals to recognize their passion. And if a person identifies his or her true calling 10 years into the career, it wonât be easy for the individual to pivot the career from that point. Receiving unwanted responsibilities: You may enjoy your work right now, but when you are promoted and given certain responsibilities that you are not passionate about, it can not only affect your performance but also put your career in jeopardy. It is like asking a tutor who offers assignment help to the students, to manage the accounts of an institution. Unless the tutor is interested in crunching numbers, things are likely to go haywire for both the tutor as well as the institute. Staying relevant: The world around us is changing rapidly. To stay relevant in this dynamic world, every individual needs to update their skill and knowledge by getting acquainted with the latest technology and the recent trends. Every year a lot of Gen X and baby boomers are relieved of their responsibilities as the organizations are finding millennials to be more appropriate for their work. How to tackle these challenges and develop a successful career? If you are lucky, you may not have to face any of these challenges in your career. In most cases, some of these challenges seem unavoidable. But if you are prepared for all sorts of challenges and plan your career from the very beginning, you may just find the key to a successful career. Here are some career tricks that can put the odds in your favor. 1. Identify your personal goals: It is difficult to succeed in life if your personal goals do not align with your career goals. So, before you consider following a career path, identify the goals you have for yourself. You may want to get married and start a family by the age of 30, or perhaps travel the world at your own expenses. Whatever the goals are, acknowledging them may allow you to structure your career around it. Ideally, you should choose a career path that helps you achieve your personal goals. However, most people start their career without considering their personal goals. A few years down the line, they start to find themselves in a position where they can neither enjoy their professional life nor the personal life. So, if you want to have a fulfilling career, you should consider getting your goals sorted. 2. Improve your resume: If you are starting out your professional career, or want to pivot your career by pursuing a better opportunity, you should focus on improving your resume. Resumes allow you to highlight the areas where you excel while giving the reader a hint about your experience, knowledge and expertise. Since you are judged by the employers on the basis of your resume, you may need to prepare it in such a way that it looks impressive. There are a number of writing services like Myassignmenthelp and Myessayhelp which can help you prepare an impressive resume based on your credentials. However, that is just one way to improve your resume. Whether you realize it or not, if you donât upgrade your skill set, presenting well-written documents wonât get you anywhere. So, while having a well-crafted resume may be important for taking your career to the next level, it is also important to acquire new skills so that your resume sounds interesting to the employers. 3. Acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses: You may be good at what you do. But is that the best you can do with your skill set? Perhaps not. There is always room for improvement. However, you may find it hard to improve yourself if you are unaware of your personal strengths and weaknesses. If you want to move closer to success, it is essential to acknowledge your strengths and limitations, which may help you to adapt to challenging conditions, whether its your professional life or personal. As you start to identify your strengths, you will be able to reap benefits by leveraging those traits in the professional field. Also, when you acknowledge your limitations, you can work on them and use it to your advantage. If you are able to identify your strengths and weaknesses early in life, it may help you choose a career path that allows you to utilize your strengths in the best way possible. 4. Start taking responsibilities in life: If you are intimidated by responsibilities and never really initiate anything from your end, you may have a find it difficult to succeed in life. The world is already filled with mediocre people who are very comfortable at serving under their managers. Well, thereâs nothing wrong in following the instructions of your reporting manager, but if you wish to build a successful career, you need to start taking responsibilities. A successful person leads from the front, and so should you. Take initiatives, and make things work. Some of your decisions may work, some may not, but it is important to take full responsibility for your actions and thoughts. When you start taking responsibilities, you not only mature as a person but it also reflects on your performance which may provide you with the opportunity to take your career to the next level. 5. Create a strong network: Having connections in high places can be quite rewarding when it comes to the professional field. You are going to meet a lot of people in your career who may or may not be an influential person in the industry. Your objective should be to get acquainted with people and broaden your network. You may not require their assistance right away, but you may need their assistance in the future to boost your career. There are a number of ways to build a strong network of people. Social gatherings, seminars, and business summits are the best places to get acquainted with people. However, you can also use a social media platform like Facebook and Twitter to get introduced to new people. LinkedIn is quite useful in this context when you want to keep things professional. 6. Create your own identity: A successful career requires more than just a resume and several connections at high places. You need to make your own identity in the industry if you want to see yourself at an enviable position someday. As you may have noticed, companies spend millions of dollars in building their brand identity in the market. Even if you are working under a company, you can work towards creating your own mark in the industry. If you are ambitious about starting your own venture someday, it may be a good move for you to build your unique identity in the industry. You can invest in content marketing, which is quite effective in making people aware of your brand. Social media marketing is also effective as it allows you to interact with the audience. If you are already investing your time and energy in branding yourself, you may find it easier to run your company someday. 7. Seek guidance from the stalwarts: Another reason why networking is crucial for your career is that it allows you to get acquainted with the industry stalwarts who have been in the industry for long and know how things work around here. If you are at the early stage of your career, their advice and guidance can allow you to navigate your career in the right direction. You dont always need to look up to a high profile individual for career advice. If you have a great mentor, he or she can help you achieve your goals with proper guidance and support. In fact, you can seek guidance from any trustworthy person who has spent significant years in the serving the industry. As you may realize, career development is a continuous process. And if you want things to work in your favor, it is better to start planning early. People, who are clear about their career goals from the beginning, usually have better chances of succeeding. Online Calculus Solver Tutors
Online Calculus Solver Tutors Calculus Solver is the tool used to calculate the problems related to calculus. It generally involves the problems related to the limits continuity, differential calculus and integral calculus. This solver uniquely identifies the problem whether it is problem of limits continuity or differential calculus or integral calculus etc, it first identifies and accordingly provides the solution according to the requirement of problem. It basically uses suitable formula to evaluate. In its storage area, it stores formulas of all different parts whether formula of differential calculus or integral calculus or limits etc. Based on these formulas and along with relevant rules this tool solves the problem after proper evaluation/ analysis of the problem. From the below mentioned examples, this can be more clarified. Example 1:- Find the derivative of the x. (Sinx) Solution 1:- Given function is x. (Sinx) To find: - d/dx x. (Sinx) We know that,d/dx (Sinx) = Cos x Therefore, d/dx x. (Sinx) = x.d/dx (Sinx) + Sinx d/dx (x) So d/dx x. (Sinx) = x Cos x + Sinx (1) Therefore, d/dx x. (Sinx) = x Cos x + Sinx (1) Hence d/dx x. (Sinx) = x Cos x + Sinx. This is one example in which Calculus solver solved differential calculus problem by used formulas of differential calculus. Example 2:- Find the integration of x^7 + x^5 + 5 dx Solution 2:- Given function is x^7 + x^5 + 5. Here we have to find the integration of x^7 + x^5 + 5. Now we know that,x^n.dx = x^ (n+1) / n+1 + c, Here c is constant of integration Therefore, x^7 + x^5 + 5 dx = x^7 dx+ x^5 dx + 5 dx x^ (7+1)/ (7+1) + x^ (5+1)/ (5+1) + 5 x+ c x^8/8 + x^6/6 + 5x +c So the integration of x^7 + x^5 + 5 dx = x^8/8 + x^6/6 + 5x +c In this example c is constant of integration. This is one example in which Calculus solver solved integral calculus problem by used formulas of integral calculus .
